Enrollment at Roseland Christian School

Any parents who desire a Christian education for their children and are actively involved in a Christian church are welcome to enroll their children at Roseland Christian School. Church membership is important; it is our belief that it takes three institutions to bring up a healthy child: home, school, and church. We have the privilege of educating children from more than 105 different churches in the city of Chicago and its suburbs.

Roseland Christian admits students of any race, color, national, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded to or may be available to students at the school. Roseland Christian does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national, or ethnic origin in admissions, policies, scholarship and loan programs, athletics, and other school-administered programs.

Parents who desire to enroll their children at Roseland Christian Schools should complete an application form. Once completed, an enrollment interview will take place with prospective parents meeting with a member of the Admissions Committee and a building principal. There is a non-refundable enrollment fee of $162 that must be included with the enrollment form.

2008 - 2009 Tuition Rates

For a complete tuition schedule, please visit our office. Please note that our tuition schedule does not cover the entire cost of education. In addition, Capital costs associated with schools (building, grounds improvements, technology, etc.) are not covered by tuition payments. Funds are raised using a variety of methods to cover these costs. All parents are expected to contribute their resources (time, money, expertise) in a cooperative effort to be certain that our students have equipped, exciting places in which to learn.

For the 2008 - 2009 school year, Roseland Christian will raise $500,000 to cover the above items. Various appeal letters and fundraising events (e.g.; Phone-a-thon, Walk-a-thon, Golf Outing, and Banquet) will be used to raise those funds. In addition, groups such as the Christian Parent Teacher Association or the school choir or band may do addition fundraisers like candy sales or candle sales to raise funds for particular extra-curricular expenses.

Childcare Initiative Funds are accepted. For more information on obtaining Childcare Initiative, please contact the RCS office.
